Mäntykalliokoti has 29 resident places and our operations are based on residents' resources, providing comprehensive care until the end of life. We want to offer our residents a life that reflects their preferences and support their daily functioning and social contacts. As a licensed practical nurse, you will take care of residents' daily care, hygiene, and medication management. Your tasks include preparing care and service plans in collaboration with residents and their relatives, as well as conducting RAI functional capacity assessments. You are the person we are looking for if you want to do meaningful work with elderly people. Orientation will be planned individually according to your needs, and you will receive support from the entire work community and supervisor. You are suitable for this position if you have a professional qualification in social and health care (licensed practical nurse) or a previous school-level qualification in the field. The professional competence must be verifiable (Valvira). Additionally, good spoken and written Finnish skills are required. The successful candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the law on the background check of persons working with the elderly (741/2023 § 28). The position is filled permanently. We observe a six-month probation period. The work is performed in three shifts, including weekends. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The task-specific salary for a practical nurse in elderly care is 2652.70 euros/month.
