Lahti Upper Secondary School Gaudia operates partly in new facilities and partly in renovated premises at the Paavola campus. Most of the 1,440 students at Gaudia study on the general line. Additionally, Gaudia offers national special tasks including English-language IB diploma education, as well as art and music. Qualifications include eligibility as a subject teacher in history and social studies for upper secondary education. We value upper secondary school teaching experience. We seek active, cooperative, and participative individuals for our excellent work community. Teacher qualifications are determined according to the Decree No. 986/98 on the qualifications of education personnel. Please indicate your qualifications in your application and attach copies of degree certificates proving your qualifications; original certificates will be checked in a possible interview. Video interviews may be used in the selection process. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check as required by law 504/2002 before taking up the position.
