Practical Nurse

Mehiläinen is a large family with a mission to help people live their best lives. We are hiring practical nurses for shift work to act as day activity providers for our clients in Tampere. You may choose to work regular shifts weekly or according to your availability. The client’s day activities are arranged two days per week, with a 4-hour shift (12-16). The job suits students or those filling their calendars with occasional work. The role can be long-term as our day activities arrangement covers several years. In day activities, the client engages in meaningful activities outside the home each day. You will be outdoors and active. You will have a partner with whom you create a meaningful and safe day. You also have the opportunity to influence the content by planning activities with the client and another supervisor. You will lead diverse day activities that develop daily living skills for adults needing special support and support their development. Prior experience in diabetes care is a plus. We require a social and health care qualification (practical nurse), a valid sote professional card, valid LOVe licenses, and good Finnish language skills. The professional card can be obtained from the wellbeing region’s registration office. We will verify a criminal background check for employees working with older people and people with disabilities. Salary: 15.50-17.55 €/hour depending on experience. Our private social services sector collective agreement pay grades G22 apply for practical nurses.
