Site Manager - Vesivoima (Hydro) - Elcoline Group Oy - Vantaa, Finland

We are looking for an experienced site manager (Site Manager) to strengthen our hydro power services (TGS) and support the growth of our turbine and generator services. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects in collaboration with clients, project organization, and site personnel. You will work independently on various projects, ensuring that installation work is carried out safely, with high quality, and according to agreed schedules. You will lead daily activities on the site, ensure efficient resource utilization, and play a key role in project implementation, scheduling, and quality. Your responsibilities include planning, preparing, and coordinating project execution; managing site operations, personnel, and subcontractors; managing project schedules, resources, and costs in cooperation with the project manager; daily reporting, documentation, and preparing final reports; supporting the organization with technical solutions and project specifications; acting as the client interface and ensuring project progress; monitoring and ensuring safety and company procedures at sites; independently managing smaller projects from start to finish. What we expect from you include several years of experience in site operations and installation projects in the hydro power sector, relevant technical education (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering) or equivalent practical experience, good technical understanding of energy or power plant environments, experience in project management and coordination, good documentation and reporting skills, fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Finnish, Swedish, German) are considered an advantage, willingness to travel as needed for projects, including short notice. The salary range for the position is approximately €4000–6000/month, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, and suitability for the role.
