Job Description
Join us in building a smoother data service for the Western Uusimaa wellbeing area. We are seeking a project manager for a two-year fixed-term position in a project to centralize data services. We are looking for a skilled, development-oriented, and practical project manager to oversee the implementation of the data request process centralization, execute the implementation plan, and manage change processes in daily operations. In this role, you will actively drive change forward together with operational staff, experts, and managers, rather than just observing from a distance. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive reform aimed at streamlining data services, standardizing operational models, and enhancing service quality across the organization. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the overall achievement of project goals, schedule, and scope, as well as ensuring the delivery of results. You will lead the project through its phases, guide the project team, and serve as the presenter and secretary for the steering group. You will report on project progress, risks, and decision needs, and ensure that key metrics such as throughput time, processing rate, and customer satisfaction are implemented. You will lead the deployment and organization of the centralized operational model. You will oversee the progress of standardization and centralization, support pilot projects and phased expansion, and ensure roles, responsibilities, and division of work are clearly defined and implemented. The role also involves identifying resource and competence needs, coordinating changes in job descriptions, personnel transfers, and recruitment as necessary. Key aspects of the role include change management, stakeholder collaboration, and process development. You will manage change in cooperation with service providers and other stakeholders, ensure commitment to shared practices, and oversee communication and change management activities. Additionally, you will lead efforts to standardize and unify processes, develop guidelines, forms, and operational models, and monitor the realization of benefits and ongoing development from pilot to broader implementation. Workplace: Western Uusimaa wellbeing area, Service Center, Kamreerintie 2 A, 02770 Espoo.
