Restaurant Manager for a lunch restaurant. We are opening a new, publicly accessible lunch restaurant in August located in a business park environment near Tampere city center. Our restaurant serves tasty and high-quality lunch daily, hosts meetings and catering events, and creates moments that customers want to return to. On our café side, we offer delicious café products, fresh salad lunches, and quality coffee and tea. We are now looking for a customer-oriented restaurant manager to join our team. As a restaurant manager, you will be responsible for customer relations and ensuring that agreed services are delivered with quality. You will act as a participative supervisor for a 3-4 person team and be involved in daily operations. You will plan events and catering together with clients and ensure that the overall service runs seamlessly. An important part of your work is also team leadership — taking care of staff well-being, development, and a safe working environment. You will not be alone: you will have support from the business manager and skilled colleagues. You will succeed in this role if you have: - Relevant education and at least three years of experience in a similar role - Genuine desire to create quality food and service with your team - Skills in sales, marketing, and development of operations and products - Ability to inspire and lead by example, participating in practical work - Experience in planning and executing events and functions - Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Basic IT skills and fluent Finnish and English language skills - Hygiene passport and alcohol service license We offer you a workplace that values human-centeredness, quality, and teamwork.
