Fixed-term position from August 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The position is based on a temporary replacement. The primary workplace is Pikku Aino Daycare, where early childhood education childcare workers work in shifts. We value a development-oriented and sensitive approach. In 2026, development areas include language awareness and S2 issues, digital skills, and activities in accordance with Moving Early Childhood Education. The position requires qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). In the absence of qualified applicants, a suitable candidate without the qualification may be selected for the temporary position, provided they have previous experience in early childhood education. The selected candidate must submit an acceptable medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract in accordance with law 504/2002 (law on background checks for those working with children) before starting work. The Infectious Diseases Act (Section 55) requires those working with preschool children to assess the risk of tuberculosis transmission. A questionnaire developed by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health will be used for tuberculosis screening, along with an interpretation guide. The replacement is for the period from August 3, 2026, to December 31, 2026. A three (3) month probationary period applies. Salary and other employment terms are determined according to the Collective Agreement for Municipal Employees (KVTES). In the shift daycare, the salary for early childhood education childcare workers is level B (2600.23 euros/month).
