Manager, Energy Compliance - Stora Enso Oyj - Remote - Global

We are looking for Manager, Energy Compliance for Business Unit Energy to ensure compliance with energy, climate, and regulatory frameworks. The position can be located in Helsinki or Stockholm, or in one of the Stora Enso mill sites in Finland or Sweden. Career for a better climate. Every day. As Manager, Energy Compliance, your responsibilities include: Managing energy and climate compliance obligations (e.g. REMIT), supporting Group sustainability organization Overseeing EU ETS and emissions portfolio, energy taxation Monitoring regulatory development and EU- and national support schemes Who are we looking for? In order to be successful in this role we expect you to have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience Proven experience within the energy or forest industry Previous experience in a supervisory, or team leadership role is considered an advantage Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholder Flexibility, initiative and the ability to be a process owner Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills Established professional network and/or strong networking capabilities Willingness to travel as required by the role Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory; Finnish or Swedish is a benefit What we offer We believe that our employees are key to our success.
