We are looking for a skilled and independent CNC turner for our client company. The work can start promptly. The workplace is located in Viiala, Akaa. The company has been operating for over 20 years, is financially stable, and specializes in stainless and acid-resistant steel sheet work, piping, and machining. Its machine shop activities focus on manufacturing subcontracted machines and machine parts made of acid-resistant, stainless, and regular steel. Key areas of expertise include long thin sheet welding, black steel lining, and gear housing machining. We offer a permanent, full-time position where you will work with high-quality machinery without shift work. Job tasks and responsibilities: - Independent setup, programming, and adjustment of Okuma CNC multiturn lathes - Machining using Okuma OSP control - Manufacturing parts according to drawings and quality requirements - Tool changes, measurements, and quality control at the workstation - A robot will be introduced for part changing, and previous experience with robot cells is considered an advantage. What we expect from you: - Relevant vocational education (e.g., machinist or mechanical and production engineering) - Experience with CNC turning and use of Okuma OSP control; previous Fanuc experience is also an advantage - Ability to read drawings and precise handling of measuring instruments - Fluent Finnish language skills - Careful, precise, and proactive work attitude.
