Distribution Network Designer - Eltel Networks Oy

Eltel Power business unit is seeking electrical distribution network designers for the Kymenlaakso and Uusimaa regions. The work will start according to the agreement. Design work includes electrical and terrain design of overhead line and underground cable networks, obtaining permits with landowners and authorities, as well as preparing work documents and material lists and coordinating logistics. The work is independent and involves outdoor movement. The role may also include network inspections, installation work, and fault response activities, depending on the professional skills of the applicant and separately agreed. The role requires relevant education such as electrical engineering or other suitable training. We prefer some work experience in the field, and previous experience in design tasks is considered an advantage. As a designer, you will work with various systems, so sufficient IT skills are required. You will interact with landowners and stakeholders, so good communication and negotiation skills are beneficial. Proficiency in Finnish is required for working in this environment.
