Technical Sales Representative - Avery Dennison - Remote - Global

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Kenya and South Africa. The role involves bridging our technical expertise with customer needs, driving sales growth, providing technical support, and building lasting relationships with distributors, converters, and end users. Responsibilities include needs analysis, developing sales strategies, qualifying leads, providing technical advice, delivering product training, conducting product trials, analyzing market trends, maintaining customer records in CRM systems, managing customer relationships, assisting with account management, preparing reports, executing customer calls, creating customer value plans, contributing to S&OP meetings, and staying current with industry trends. Requirements include at least 6 years of external sales experience in a technical environment, experience with distribution channels, technical product knowledge, understanding of Kenya and South Africa markets, pipeline development, a valid driver’s license, and regional travel capability. Skills required include technical knowledge, sales skills, communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM, analytical skills, time management, relationship management, business acumen, active listening, forecasting, negotiation, and planning. Preferred qualifications include relevant technical or sales education, experience in manufacturing or distribution, regional market familiarity, and a successful sales record.
