Welcome to work as a laboratory nurse at Peijas Hospital's Clinical Physiology unit! HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland's leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. Our main area of operation is the specialized healthcare of the HUS consortium and the primary healthcare clients within the well-being areas managed by HUS. We are responsible for several specialized examinations nationwide, as well as research and teaching related to university hospital functions. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, monitoring, and screening for diseases. Approximately 3,300 laboratory and imaging professionals work at HUS Diagnostics Center across more than 150 locations. We are seeking a laboratory nurse for a fixed-term position from August 10, 2026, to June 20, 2027, at Peijas Hospital's Clinical Physiology unit. As a laboratory nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the implementation of high-quality and patient-safe examinations. Your tasks will include working with customer counseling and various tests. Your duties will involve, among others, EKG and long-term RR recordings, spirometry, diffusion capacity measurements, EKG pre-analytical processing, upright tolerance tests, stress tests, and manometry. Additionally, it is possible to receive a maximum of 8% experience bonus. HUS Diagnostics Center uses performance-based pay, which can increase the monthly income.
