Betesda is a foundation operating in Uusimaa, providing services and activities for the elderly as well as substance abuse and mental health rehabilitation clients. The foundation's community activities create opportunities for meaningful daily life and strengthen people's participation in various life situations. Approximately 200 professionals work at Betesda. Read more about us: www.betesda.fi Come and do meaningful work with the elderly in the North and North-West Helsinki area. We are looking for a project worker to implement outreach work for the elderly in the North and North-West Helsinki area. Your core task is to identify elderly individuals who need help and support in their daily lives. You will guide seniors to appropriate services and activities based on their needs and enhance their participation and sense of security. This role is suitable for someone who values independent work, engaging with the elderly, and is excited about creating new solutions. The activity is funded by the City of Helsinki and is a project until the end of 2026. The continuation of the project depends on funding decisions. Key Tasks - Practical implementation of project activities such as outreach in elderly environments, network collaboration, client work, and guiding group activities for seniors at meeting points. - Communication tasks and promoting the visibility of the project. We Expect You To Have - Higher education degree in social or health care, such as gerontologist, social worker, or nurse - Experience working with the elderly - Experience in guiding groups - Good interaction skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Willingness to travel in the field and meet clients in their daily environment - Basic knowledge of digital tools and reporting We Offer - Meaningful work to promote the well-being of the elderly. - A versatile and independent role. - We adhere to the collective agreement for private social services.
