Job Description
A global market leader in the gambling industry is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive sales and own client relationships across a busy commercial patch. You'll manage the full cycle - lead generation through to contract signing and post-sale follow-up - with plenty of travel and real autonomy. You'll build and maintain relationships with assigned clients across the manufacturer, operator and regulator space, owning sales activity end to end and being accountable for revenue and client satisfaction. Meeting clients to negotiate and secure new business, and keeping existing relationships strong. Delivering sales presentations and tailoring solutions to client needs. Owning the full sales cycle from lead to signed contract, then follow-up. Forecasting client activity and setting your own performance targets. Reviewing market activity to spot where clients' needs are heading. Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date. Representing the business at tradeshows and industry conferences. Coordinating client training or service delivery where needed. A track record in commercial, sales or business development - ideally with some exposure to gaming, gambling or a related regulated sector. Confidence presenting to and influencing both small groups and large audiences. A proactive, self-starting approach with strong time management. The ability to juggle multiple clients, projects and deadlines without dropping detail. Solid written communication - reports, proposals, business correspondence.
