Orthodontic Specialist - Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue - Sipoo, Finland

The North-Eastern Uusimaa Welfare Area is seeking a SPECIALIST DENTIST IN ORTHODONTICS for a permanent position starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement. The position is part-time (50% working hours) and initially located in the Sipoo dental care team. Are friendly colleagues, functional work tools, and a good location important to you? The specialist in orthodontics is part of the expertise, development, and planning of oral health care in the North-Eastern Uusimaa Welfare Area. The work consists of clinical work as a specialist dentist in orthodontics. The role also includes teaching and supervising staff in matters related to orthodontic treatment. Clients mainly come to the specialist via referral. There is good collaboration with HUS at the specialist healthcare level. The work is based at the Nikkilä dental clinic in Sipoo. You will also be part of the entire welfare area's orthodontic team, which includes orthodontists, assistant orthodontists, and dental hygienists in Sipoo, Porvoo, Askola, and Loviisa. The qualification requirement is a license as a specialist dentist in orthodontics in Finland. Good oral skills in both native languages and good written skills in one of the native languages are required. Employment terms are governed by the Doctors' Terms of Employment and Civil Service Collective Agreement (LS). Salary is based on the new career step system, depending on experience, education, and job description. The trial period is six months. The position requires vaccination protection as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and tuberculosis screening as per section 55.
