We are seeking a permanent instructor for adult disability employment services in a team of 6 employees, starting on August 3rd. Approximately 50 individuals of various ages with disabilities attend the employment services daily. Activities include assistive tasks such as cleaning and maintenance indoors and outdoors. Many activities take place outside the activity center at partner locations, such as libraries, stores, or nature trails. As an instructor, your duties include guiding, assisting, and supporting clients during the day. You will plan and organize activities with clients and your team, and maintain cooperation networks. Clients may also participate in other activities promoting their functional capacity and recreation, such as sports and excursions. The work is guided by service implementation plans developed with clients. Collaboration with clients' families, housing units, and other partners is an important part of the job. Workplace name and address: Kuninkaantien Employment Services Working hours: 38 hours and 15 minutes per week, daytime work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The position is permanent with a 6-month probation period. Qualifications: suitable higher education degree, e.g., Bachelor of Social Services Requirements: - Vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act §48. - A health status certificate regarding respiratory tuberculosis according to Infectious Diseases Act §55 at the start of employment. - Finnish language skills sufficient for client documentation, both spoken and written. Selected candidates may be asked to provide a drug test certificate in accordance with the Western Uusimaa Well-being Services County's substance abuse program.
