Financial Controller - Eclipse Foundation - Remote - Global

The Eclipse Foundation is a large open source software foundation supporting industry-leading projects like Adoptium, Eclipse IDE, IoT, and Jakarta EE. The Financial Controller supports the organization’s financial health through strategic oversight and leadership of accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements across a global, multi-entity environment. The role involves establishing policies, managing daily operations, preparing financial statements, developing KPIs, mentoring teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position is remote with occasional in-office attendance in Ottawa, Canada. Requirements include 5+ years of experience, knowledge of ERP systems, and ability to operate in a global organization. Experience in non-profit or open source sectors is a plus. Salary CAD 110,000–120,000. Full-time, experienced, hybrid work.
