Our rapidly growing cyber security consulting team is looking for an experienced expert to strengthen our expertise. The role combines administrative and technical cyber security, focusing on supporting our clients in developing comprehensive cyber security. You will have a tangible impact on societal safety, operational reliability, and trust in digital services. Join a team of skilled professionals, part of a nearly 30-member cyber security consulting team. You will work as a cyber security expert, emphasizing your skills and experience in administrative and technical cyber security issues according to client needs. You will often collaborate closely with other security and product experts. Our team has expertise in secure software development, administrative and technical information security, data protection, and cyber and digital regulation. We also offer outsourced data protection officer services. Our consulting team is part of a larger cyber security unit with over 170 experts, including product and service specialists, white-hat hackers, and is one of Finland’s leading players in the field. The role is permanent and full-time, with a salary of 5500–6500 euros per month, negotiable. You will help clients develop cyber security as a whole—covering management models, risk management, technical solutions, and practical implementation. You will support clients both strategically and operationally, acting as a trusted expert to various stakeholders. As a consultant, you will see a variety of industries, organizations, and environments, working with both private sector actors and high-security authorities. Your work will significantly influence the protection of society’s critical services, data, and basic functions. Projects vary from current state assessments and development plans to long-term expert support, tailored to client needs, offering broad utilization of your skills from multiple perspectives. Typical tasks include developing cyber security management models, conducting current state, risk, and maturity assessments, supporting compliance, standards, and best practices, and providing expert support to management and development teams. The work location is flexible; you can work from home or from our offices in Espoo or Tampere, or a combination. Remote work is also possible, with occasional visits to client sites. As an experienced professional, you may also mentor colleagues and contribute to business development. You have broad experience in cyber security, understanding both administrative and technical principles. Your background may include roles as a security expert or consultant, with previous experience in IT, risk management, or auditing being beneficial. You value a broad understanding of different cyber security areas and can apply this knowledge to various client needs. You are motivated to promote organizational change towards more comprehensive and impactful cyber security. You enjoy working with clients and can challenge them constructively to genuinely improve security. You take responsibility for your work, thrive in autonomous roles, and wish to develop your skills further with colleagues and clients. Certifications like ISO/IEC 27001, CISM, CISA, or CISSP are appreciated but not mandatory. You work fluently in Finnish and English with colleagues and clients.
