Do you want to develop local communities, creative business models, and interdisciplinary collaboration? Are you inspired by development work where ideas are concretized in cooperation with different people and stakeholders? We are now seeking a full-time FUI Expert for our Entrepreneurship and Business Operations FUI team. The position is temporary from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2028. You will mainly work in the Jakobstad region with Swedish-speaking stakeholders. The working languages at Centria are Finnish and English, but good knowledge of Swedish is required to succeed in the task. A brief description of the projects you will work on: Spelbron - The project involves organizing 7–9 workshops for five different participant groups. - Each group should consist of 10–12 participants, half of whom are youth and half are older adults. - The final result of the workshops should be that each group has at least one finished game demo (not necessarily digital). - The aim is to bring different generations together to increase mutual understanding and cooperation, inspired by local history, identifying future opportunities, and revitalizing rural areas. Technologibiblioteket 2.0 - Technology education for youth, realizing the possibilities of technology, highlighting youth strengths, and showcasing skills needed in regional companies. - Developing technological examples for companies into solution-oriented formats together with youth and companies. - The goal is approximately 30–60 visits to schools (from primary to high school) in collaboration with teachers. - The outcome is increased youth understanding of technology and confidence in their skills, and teachers gaining new perspectives and methods for integrating technology into teaching. INNO100 – Growth from Sustainable Innovations - Developing companies' innovation capacity, green transition, and workplace well-being. - Conducting various experiments in companies (companies implement, project team provides guidance). - The goal is for companies to learn to innovate and commercialize new products and services. - Tasks include generating ideas for experiments, guiding them, organizing information meetings and events, and disseminating results with the project team. We expect you to have: - Relevant university degree - Experience in development or project work and coordinating multiple tasks - Solid competence in co-development, event organization, workshop facilitation, and participatory methods - Interest in or understanding of game design/gamification, creative processes, and/or artistic work - Ability to inspire people of different ages and backgrounds to collaborate - Good communication and interaction skills, and readiness to meet multilingual and multicultural audiences - Ability to structure, analyze, and summarize information to support operations and decision-making - An independent and unbiased work approach, and a genuine interest in developing local communities and cultural environments.
