Sales Assistant, Mestarin Herkku - Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta - Jyväskylä, Finland

Primary location: JYVÄSKYLÄ We are currently looking for a SALES ASSISTANT for Mestarin Herkku's Kitchen and Café. The position is permanent and part-time, 30 hours per week. In this role, your workday will consist of active customer service and maintaining the café's atmosphere. You ensure each customer interaction is successful—whether the customer is there for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Additionally, you will participate in store tasks such as unloading deliveries and stocking shelves. We expect from you: - Previous experience in the restaurant industry, especially in café operations, is an advantage, as well as experience in retail tasks - Enthusiasm for customer service and enjoyment of teamwork - Ability to handle tasks actively and efficiently - Willingness to work flexibly in different shifts, as we serve customers with extended opening hours - Ability to serve customers fluently in Finnish The Mestarin Herkku team will thoroughly train you for your tasks, and during a busy workday, you will be supported by the entire team and the store manager Katja. Salary is based on the retail sector collective agreement and depends on years of experience, ranging from €10.89 to €14.57/hour plus evening and weekend bonuses. We also offer the opportunity for performance-based bonuses of up to €1.50 per hour worked.
