Job Description
The Finnish Judo Federation is seeking a marketing-oriented project coordinator for a two-year project promoting an active lifestyle: "Getting Moving with Judo" - accessible, safe, and communal judo for the hearing impaired and the elderly. The project is funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The work can be done as an individual or as an entrepreneur. Experience or knowledge of sports or athletic club activities, good collaboration skills, initiative, interest in equality and accessibility, organizational skills, and project experience are required. Preferred qualifications include experience in sports branding and marketing, and knowledge of sports for special groups. The position offers the chance to learn about judo, work on meaningful projects promoting sports and equality, and participate in a two-year project with responsibilities and opportunities to showcase skills. The project aims to create an inclusive model for judo clubs to increase physical activity among hearing-impaired and elderly people, develop support materials, and collaborate with relevant organizations. The work begins on September 1, 2026, and continues until May 31, 2027, with approximately 25 hours per week.
