Read more: metsagroup.com/metsaforall. This recruitment is conducted anonymously. We are looking for a Production Manager for Metsä Forest’s domestic timber procurement. The location can be Jyväskylä, Tampere, or Espoo. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of timber harvesting and forest management tasks according to set quantity and quality goals. You will lead a network of entrepreneurs involved in harvesting and forest management, develop the skills of your team members, and maintain short- and long-term planning in close cooperation with procurement and logistics. Your responsibilities include continuous improvement of safety, quality management, and cost efficiency, ensuring high environmental performance and customer satisfaction by guiding operational procedures, handling deviations, and monitoring training. You will act as a supervisor for operation managers and development specialists, participate in strategic projects, and lead a high-performing team by example. You will be a member of the production management team and report to the production director.
