Job Description
As Development Engineer you will innovate and develop new product concepts, technical solutions and design features for our Straddle Carrier business, making our product portfolio to be the most advanced and competitive in the market. Guided by the BL Director, the SC Product Manager and the Sales team you convert market needs into products. Aligned with the Chief Engineers of the BL, you develop the respective technical solutions and get them into a serial production stage. In parallel, you act as the link between the German BL and the global KC engineering teams and you foster the efficient use of KC engineering tools and processes. Key responsibilities include identifying desired product features, updating the product roadmap, prioritizing development activities, organizing and executing product development projects, planning and coordinating engineering resources, cooperating with Chief Engineers, scanning the market for new technologies, and guiding local engineering teams.
