We are now looking for you RESPONSIBLE SUPERVISOR for a permanent, full-time position at a group home in Kotka. Our homely group homes provide a safe environment for minors arriving in Finland without guardians, offering care and upbringing tailored to children and adolescents' age and developmental level. Our operations are built around a safe daily life, guided strongly by the child's best interest. Your key responsibilities include: close cooperation with the unit manager according to service needs, leading and supporting a diverse work team, participating in and organizing daily tasks at the group home, supporting own supervisors, performing other tasks based on your skills and strengths. You will report to the unit manager. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the diverse daily life of the group home. You are responsible for the smooth daily operation of the group home and supporting the supervisors. Your working hours are primarily daytime, with some exceptions. We expect from you: a degree in social services or nursing (AMK), an independent, flexible, and developmental work approach, open communication, teamwork skills, and a positive attitude, experience in supervisory work, experience working in a group home or reception center is considered an advantage, valid Valvira registration. A criminal record certificate is required for work with children. The salary for this position is based on the collective agreement for private social services and ranges from €2,978.31 to €3,248.15 per month (from 1.9.2026, €3,073.62 to €3,353.31 per month), depending on your experience and skills.
