Food Service Workers and Facility Cleaners Positions - Ylöjärven kaupunki - Ylöjärvi, Finland

Approximately 130 employees work in the food and cleaning services of the City of Ylöjärvi. PERMANENT POSITIONS: 1. Food Service Worker, based at Kauraslammi School, Asuntula unit. The role includes approximately 40% cleaning. 2. Food Service Worker, acting as a substitute. The work involves serving as a temporary substitute at various locations depending on the absence of permanent staff. 3. Facility Cleaner, based at Soppeenmäki Comprehensive School. 4. Facility Cleaner, based at Vuorentausta Elementary School. The work time is 50% of full-time, currently including 55% cleaning and 45% dishwashing duties. FIXED-TERM POSITIONS: 5. Food Service Worker, acting as a substitute. The work involves serving as a temporary substitute at various locations depending on the absence of permanent staff. Employment period: 3 August 2026 – 31 May 2027. REQUIREMENTS: Positions 1, 2, and 5 in food services require a basic qualification in restaurant and catering or a professional cook qualification, or other relevant education or sufficient skills acquired through work experience, along with suitability for the role and industry experience. Positions 3 and 4 require a facility cleaner or building maintenance qualification or other relevant education or experience, along with suitability for the role and industry experience. OTHER INFORMATION: Salary and employment conditions are governed by the Local Government Collective Agreement (KVTES). A six (6) month probationary period applies.
