We are hiring for the Kittilä gold mine. Laboratory Technician for a fixed-term employment until the end of the year. Your tasks include collecting, pre-processing, and analyzing production and environmental samples in the concentrator's laboratory. The work is performed in 10.5-hour day shifts on a 5/5 rotation. We expect from you experience in laboratory work and appropriate education, a safe work attitude, responsibility, stress tolerance, initiative, flexibility, knowledge of common laboratory equipment techniques, quality assurance and calibration practices, diligent work ethic, good social skills, ability to work as part of a team, good physical condition, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, LIMS). Additionally, experience with gravimetric, titrimetric, ion chromatography, UV/Vis, and FAAS determination methods, knowledge of Fire assay method, enthusiasm, safety orientation, willingness to develop skills, and a valid occupational safety card are valued.
