Personal Assistant / Reference 20043 - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Äänekoski, Finland

We are seeking an assistant through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County for a permanent position for a young adult in Äänekoski Konginkangas. The employer has Down syndrome and cannot read or write. They communicate understandably verbally, with occasional challenges in pronunciation. The employer is independent in many daily basic tasks, such as bathroom visits, showering, and eating. The work is offered variably at 10 hours per month, with the possibility to request additional hours if needed. The work is planned as an employment relationship. Tasks include assisting in leisure activities, such as visits to the swimming hall, movies, shopping, and the library. Salary: Heta Collective Agreement A 13.23 €/h + possible experience bonuses. Employment relationships are always private. The person selected for the position will be employed as a representative of the assisted person/guardian. Notification of interview/employment decision will be given personally. The work begins once a suitable assistant is found. The employer has the right to request a criminal record extract from the employee working with elderly and disabled persons at the start of employment (Social and Health Care Supervision Act 741/2023, Section 28).
