Licensed Practical Nurse, Elderly Services, 24/7 Residential Care, Taivassalo - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Taivassalo, Finland

You will work as a practical nurse in a homely group home for elderly people receiving around-the-clock residential care, where nine residents live. Shared dining and leisure areas support social interaction and daily life together. In your role, you will ensure good care and well-being for the residents. Your duties include basic care, medication administration, nutrition management, osallisuus and social interaction activities (oSKE), and rehabilitative nursing work in collaboration with other staff. Emphasis is placed on self-care, RAI assessments and customer plan preparation, as well as maintaining cooperation with relatives. The goal is to enable residents to have meaningful and homely daily lives where they can participate in all activities. The work is performed in three shifts every day of the week. The qualification requirement for the position is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level qualification in the field, along with a valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
