Tuusula municipality's education services are advertising for a School Guidance Counselor/Childcare Worker in early childhood education at the Tuusula Swedish School. The position is currently filled from August 12, 2026, to October 9, 2026. Afterwards, the position continues part-time as a childcare worker from October 10, 2026, to May 30, 2027. We are looking for someone who puts the child first, is cheerful, flexible, and responsible. Tuusula Swedish School is a new primary school with approximately 50 students. The school is located in a new building that opened in August 2024. The same building also houses a Finnish-speaking school and a daycare with Swedish- and Finnish-speaking groups. We work in three combined classes. We emphasize community, safety, and shared responsibility. In a small school, everyone participates and works together. Part of the work involves both the school side as a school guidance counselor and the supplementary early childhood education with preschool children. For fixed-term employment, applicants without formal qualifications may also be considered. Copies of diplomas proving qualifications will be checked during the interview. Knowledge of Swedish is required for the position, and applications must be submitted in Swedish. Salary and other employment terms are determined according to AKTA and based on the competence requirements in Tuusula municipality. Currently, the base salary for 38.25 hours is €2,383.13 per month for a school guidance counselor, and the base salary for a childcare worker in early childhood education is €2,617.16 per month. Experience-based supplements are according to AKTA. A probation period of four (4) months applies.
