Job Description
We are currently hiring practical nurses for summer substitute positions. Working in home care is independent and diverse. As a practical nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team following a rehabilitative approach, working in clients' own homes. Daily home visits are based on comprehensive and rehabilitative care tailored to each client. Ensuring client and patient safety is central to the work. Although the work involves independent visits, you will never be alone — your team and supervisor will provide support when needed. We value our employees. The work is mainly independent, emphasizing good communication skills, responsibility, and teamwork. Workplace name and address: Karaportti 5, 02610 Espoo Working hours: 38h 15min/week, shift work The position is temporary from 6 July 2026 to 30 September 2026, with the duration based on the agreement. Qualifications: To operate under the title of practical nurse, the applicant must have the right to use the protected professional title suitable for the role. The role requires vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening according to §55. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with the elderly, as required by law 741/2023, section 28. Additionally, good written and spoken Finnish skills and a B-class driving license are required. We appreciate good interaction and teamwork skills, as well as an empathetic approach.
