Job Description
We are looking for a new colleague as a special needs supervisor at Namika Small Group Home in Lahti! Humanan child protection services share a common feature: customer orientation. The work involves supporting and encouraging children and young people in daily challenges, participating in care and upbringing assessments, and working closely with guardians, networks, educational authorities, and social services. The units Namika 1 and Namika 2 are demanding level units in Lahti, moved to new sensory-friendly premises in summer 2023, with decades of experience in foster care. Salary is determined according to the collective agreement, with a base of €2723.92-€2990.35/month depending on experience, plus a demanding institutional care supplement of €151.50/month and shift allowances. We offer internal training, occupational health care, sports and cultural benefits (€400/year), commuting benefits (€900/year), and a responsible employer. Requirements include education as a social services student, registered nurse, or practical nurse, a driver’s license, hygiene passport, Finnish language skills, at least two years of child protection experience, and skills in handling restraint situations, neuropsychiatric, and trauma work.
