Job Description
We are seeking a logistics coordinator for our client for a fixed-term employment. The work begins as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will last until the end of October 2026, with the possibility of continuation thereafter. Your workplace will be Helsinki. The logistics coordinator is responsible for planning, managing, and continuously developing the material logistics of the construction site in collaboration with various stakeholders. The role emphasizes supply chain management, use of logistics systems, scheduling, and ensuring material flows for the construction site and warehouse. The coordinator operates in accordance with our client's operational models and values, reports to the project manager, and actively participates in logistics planning, implementation, and development. You will work as part of a coordinator team. We expect you to have a degree in industrial engineering. Experience in construction site tasks is required, especially in warehouse and transportation areas, which is an advantage. IT skills should be at a good level, as multiple systems are used in the work. You must hold a valid safety training card. The ideal candidate is a cooperative team player capable of reacting quickly to changing situations. You should have negotiation skills and be able to adhere to schedules. You are calm, self-directed, and eager to develop and learn new things. Salary is according to the collective agreement for construction industry clerical staff.
