Research & Development Chemist Engineer - M/F - Revvity - Remote - Global

We are seeking an experienced chemist at our Codolet site near Avignon. Within our R&D department, this person will participate in the synthesis of organic molecules and their conjugation to various ligands as basic components for our HTRF, PhenoVue, and pH-Sense assays. The position requires advanced skills in organic and analytical chemistry. Responsibilities include organic synthesis and bioconjugation, defining molecular structures and synthesis routes, analytical controls, characterizing photophysical properties of fluorescent molecules, troubleshooting, ensuring product delivery within deadlines and budgets, generating detailed procedures, and applying safety and internal procedures. Technical expertise and project support involve implementing scientific and technical expertise in organic and analytical chemistry, managing laboratory functions, contributing to collaborative projects, training staff, and participating in multidisciplinary projects. The ideal candidate has a Bac+5 or higher in organic chemistry, at least 5 years of experience in chemistry, preferably in Pharma, Biotech, or Life Sciences, with expertise in organic synthesis and analytics, and knowledge of fluorescent molecules and photophysics. Excellent communication skills in English are required.
