Waterworks Supervisor for Water Utility - Teuvan kunta - Teuva, Finland

Motivated and practical waterworks supervisor will work at the Teuva municipal water utility on diverse and interesting tasks as part of a small and dynamic team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the operational activities and also actively participate in practical work. Your tasks include, among others: Participating in daily maintenance and repair tasks of the water utility, Supervising construction sites (maintenance of water and sewer networks), Updating network maps, Recording and maintaining maintenance data, Managing and monitoring the remote surveillance system, Acquiring and transferring tacit knowledge related to the water plant operations (in collaboration with the current operator), Being part of the on-call duty for properties and the water utility. We expect from you: Appropriate technical education, Work experience in the construction industry, water sector, or similar, Ability to work independently and good teamwork skills, Interest in practical work, Good IT skills. We consider an advantage: Experience in supervisory tasks, Knowledge of mapping and monitoring systems.
