Temporary Class Teacher Position in Basic Education from 10.8.2026 to 31.7.2028 - Kokkolan kaupunki - Kokkola, Finland

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and cooperative class teacher for a two-year fixed-term position. Veikko Vionoja School is a small and cozy village school with good facilities. The school is located in Ullava village. Students study in two combined classes: grades 1-3 and 4-6. Our staff includes a class teacher/principal, a class teacher, and two school assistants. A special education teacher is present two days a week. Our school also has a preschool group in Ullava. The applicant will primarily be responsible for teaching grades 4-6, but teaching is organized flexibly across grade boundaries in collaboration with a colleague. We offer a small and functional work community, a lively and friendly student group, an encouraging working atmosphere, and opportunities to collaborate with a preschool unit and a library located in the same building.
