Hoivakoti Wäinämöinen provides 24/7 residential care across five group homes: Louhi, Tapio, Samppa, Vellamo and Ilmarinen. Wäinämöinen serves older adults whose living at home is no longer feasible without support. Maintaining the meaning of life is central to daily work. Care is built on an individually crafted service and care plan. As a nurse you will provide nursing care with a rehabilitative approach, aiming to maintain residents’ functional capacity as fully as possible. You are responsible for ensuring quality care and client-centeredness. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team including practical nurses, activity facilitator and a physician, and will collaborate with them on residents’ basic care. You are a licensed nurse in Finland. You have a flexible, customer-oriented approach. You have strong interpersonal, team-work and communication skills. You enjoy elderly care and are happy to cooperate with residents and their families. You value human dignity, autonomy and participation. You have good Finnish language skills in speaking and writing. You must have vaccination clearance and LOVe medication course completed (can be done at work before starting). This is a fixed-term position from 21.9. to 31.12.2026 with a probation period up to half of the employment and full-time hours (about 38h15m/week). Morning and evening shifts included.
