Join us in shaping the future of pharmacy! We are looking for medical technicians for HUS Pharmacy's pharmaceutical logistics services. The tasks include pharmaceutical logistics duties at various units within Jorvi or Meilahti hospital areas and at the hospital pharmacy (e.g., filling medication rooms, smart medication cabinets, and infusion solution carts). In pharmaceutical logistics services, we handle medication care tasks for customers, such as managing medication inventories, assessing medication ordering needs, and optimizing stock levels in collaboration with ward pharmacists and unit staff. As a technician, you support smooth ward operations and medication safety by ensuring medication stocks are maintained carefully and timely, monitoring medication consumption, expiration dates, and stock levels. Minimizing medication waste is a key daily task, which we aim to achieve through sensible inventory management and the implementation of electronic inventory systems. The role requires good teamwork skills, an active work attitude, thoroughness, and an interest in developing the work. We value self-direction, flexibility, and a desire to work in a multidisciplinary environment. Customer service experience and ward work experience are appreciated. Tasks are diverse, detail-oriented, and physically demanding (lifting, transferring). The employment begins on 13.7.2026 or as agreed. The position may be permanent or fixed-term (maternity leave cover) until at least 31.12.2026. The salary is in accordance with the Social and Health Care Sector Collective Agreement (SOTE). The starting monthly salary for a medical technician at HUS Pharmacy without prior hospital pharmacy experience is €2,415.12. After familiarization with the organization and tasks, and based on independent work performance, the salary is €2,572.63 per month. Additionally, experience-based pay is provided based on experience in medication work or as a medical technician. Work is full-time with flexible working hours (7 hours 39 minutes), mainly between 6:00 and 17:00. Annual leave accrual is according to the collective agreement (SOTE), up to 38 days per year.
