Job Description
Kaskisten kaupunki is a bilingual early childhood education unit with three sections, as well as Swedish- and Finnish-speaking preschool groups. The daycare has new multipurpose facilities and an enthusiastic, professional staff. It is located near the sea and archipelago nature. Qualifications for early childhood education teachers are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), Chapter 6. Salary and other terms of employment are based on OVTES. A six-month probationary period is applied to the position. Before starting, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), Section 6, Subsection 2, and a medical certificate of health. Since the position is at the bilingual Daycare Ankkuri, the applicant must have the following language skills: Finnish as a mother tongue or equivalent, and good oral and written skills in the second national language.
