Job Description

Would you like to play a central role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a well-functioning work community at a daycare? We are looking for an assistant director who wants to be key in maintaining smooth daily routines, a supportive work environment, and high-quality early childhood education. As an assistant director, you will work as an early childhood educator or social worker and act as the right hand to your unit’s daycare director. Your role combines practical pedagogical work with operational management of daily activities. As an assistant director, you will ensure daily management, build the work community, and enable smooth operations. You will ensure continuity in daily management in situations where the daycare director is not present daily. You will serve as the immediate supervisor of staff and be responsible for daily operations, resource planning, and operational implementation in close cooperation with the daycare director. As an assistant director, you will be an active daily leader and an important part of the work community. Through your actions, you will foster trust, clarity, and a peaceful working environment. Your task is to ensure that activities are carried out according to agreed guidelines, instructions, and operational models, supporting the implementation of the strategy in daily routines.
