Our Editron business unit is leading the electrification revolution, specializing in hybrid and electric powertrain systems for the off-highway, on-highway and marine markets. We now have an opportunity to recruit a Sourcing Project Manager to be based at our flagship site in Lappeenranta, Finland, to help play a key role in management of procurement projects as part of a matrix organization. You'll be working closely with global category managers and program managers to initiate, design and execute projects while meeting quality and cost goals. This role will involve some international travel (up to circa 25%). What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the procurement agenda in a matrix environment, working both cross- functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. In particular, you will be: - Developing and execute project sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. - Conduct market analysis, cost benchmarking, and supplier capability assessments - Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving continuous cost optimization What We're Looking For We are looking for an open- minded colleague with a strong drive and growth mindset. It is essential that you possess deep interpersonal skills, the courage to challenge the status quo and an ability to work effectively with others at all levels in an organization. We also expect to see applicants demonstrating: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field. An Engineering degree would be considered advantageous. - A proven track record of demonstrable success within procurement and/or sourcing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Strong knowledge of the procurement function as well as a high degree of knowledge of cost drivers, market dynamics, and supplier relationships in driving cost reductions. - Strong negotiation and contract management skills. - In addition, a background in E-motor manufacturing would be advantageous.
