Job Description
We are seeking a registered nurse for the Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county, with the initial placement in intensive home rehabilitation, Pietarsaari. Intensive home rehabilitation is rehabilitative care provided at the client's home after a hospital stay. The goal of intensive home rehabilitation is for the client to recover and be empowered to continue their independent daily life despite their illness. The team consists of practical nurses, registered nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Physician support is also available to the team. As a registered nurse in intensive home rehabilitation, you will serve as the nursing expert within a multidisciplinary work community. In your work, you are responsible for the holistic care of clients, its planning, and implementation in cooperation with your team and other collaborating parties. The work is versatile and responsible. Good interaction and cooperation skills are required. The work is two-shift work (morning and evening shifts). The use of a private car is considered an advantage. We value a client-oriented and rehabilitative approach as well as the ability to make independent decisions. We hope that you have a desire for professional development. Eligibility requirements: Authorized registered nurse as defined in the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). Good oral and satisfactory written skills in both national languages of the country. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected candidate must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
