Touhula Linnanmaa is a four-group sports daycare where energetic and cheerful early childhood education professionals work. Movement is visible and audible throughout our daily life. We are looking for a proactive and engaging early childhood education professional for the 1-2-year-old group. You should have knowledge and skills in implementing small group and full-day pedagogy together with team members across group boundaries. Join our flexible, joyful, and humor-loving team! Lead children’s movement indoors and outdoors in all weather with your example and attitude. Innovative, boundary-breaking, and even playful ideas for movement are welcome. Can you move children without a hall, climbing frames, climbing walls, or equipment? Do you see other learning environments besides the daycare as great platforms for movement? Along the way, you will have opportunities to make independent decisions and take responsibility. At the same time, you will evaluate and develop your work. You will have the chance to implement Touhula’s pedagogical values in your own way. You will be supported by Touhula’s pedagogical tools, strong team support, and a manager with extensive experience who is present in daily operations. Good proficiency in Finnish is required for the position. Your role as an early childhood education teacher As an early childhood education teacher, you are the pedagogical leader and inspiring enabler of your team. You are responsible for planning your group’s activities and the high-quality vasuprosess using Touhula Rhythm as part of the pedagogical annual plan. Your core tasks include pedagogical leadership, individual support for children, maintaining high-quality communication with families, and supporting colleagues through feedback and team strengths. We provide comprehensive onboarding, pedagogical tools, training opportunities, and a supportive work environment. The salary ranges from €2,792.02 to €3,293.23 per month, depending on experience and skills. Requirements include Finnish language proficiency, a valid early childhood education teacher qualification, and the ability to build professional communication. We also consider students in training.
