Fixed-term part-time teacher (special class teaching) - Viitasaaren kaupunki - Viitasaari, Finland

Huopana School is located in a beautiful area with lakes and rapids. In addition to basic education, the cozy village school offers preschool education and morning and afternoon activities. Collaboration with guardians and local communities enriches school life and broadens our learning environment. We hope the selected candidate has experience with flexible teaching arrangements in cooperation with class teachers, familiarity with group and individual support procedures and related documents, and experience in community-based student welfare work. We expect the candidate to be committed to developing the school's special education and learning support methods, and to have good cooperation and interaction skills. The position requires proficiency in Finnish as a mother tongue. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. Certificates of qualification must be presented at the possible interview. Salary according to municipal collective agreements. The selected candidate must present an acceptable medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract in accordance with law 504/2002 before taking up the position.
