We are looking for skilled and friendly substitutes to join our team. Candidates should have good interaction skills and pedagogical expertise for both individual and group teaching. Strong proficiency with their instrument and experience in chamber music, orchestra, or band are valued. We seek substitutes for all taught instruments, as well as for music theory and early childhood music classes. The positions may also include part-time teaching roles in subjects such as bassoon, percussion and drums, oboe, piano, violin, and pop/jazz singing, depending on teaching needs. Qualifications must meet the requirements of regulation 986/98, and employment terms follow the municipal education collective agreement. Interviews may be conducted by phone or in person. A criminal record extract according to the Criminal Records Act (504/2002), section 6, subsection 2, may be required. Applications are primarily submitted through Kuntarekry. The application should specify the instrument(s) the applicant is qualified to teach.
