Senior Simulation Architect - Unikie Oy - Remote - Global

We are looking for a Senior Simulation Architect to help our customers develop and validate the next generation of autonomous and intelligent off-road machines. In this role, you will design simulation and validation solutions that support the development of autonomous driving functions, machine control systems, advanced operator assistance features, and software-defined machines. You will work closely with customer engineering teams, helping them accelerate development through simulation, virtual validation, digital twins, and AI-assisted engineering workflows. As a consultant, you will take a leading role in technical discussions, architecture design, and customer collaboration. You will bridge software engineering, systems engineering, and simulation technologies to create practical solutions for real-world machine development challenges. You will help shape how future autonomous machines are developed and validated. Your work will directly influence the way our customers build safer, smarter, and more capable machines through simulation and virtual engineering. What you will do: Design simulation and validation architectures for autonomous and intelligent machines Define virtual validation environments, digital twin concepts, and simulation workflows Design system integrations between vehicle software, control systems, sensors, simulators, and analysis tools Create traceable validation processes linking requirements, scenarios, software versions, test executions, and findings Support customers in simulation strategy, technology selection, and architecture decisions Lead technical workshops and participate in customer solution planning Guide development teams and provide technical leadership throughout project deliveries Contribute to the growth of Unikie's simulation, autonomy, and virtual validation capabilities.
