Job Description

The project worker will operate within coaching services, which include five other individual coaches, a special education teacher, and two youth advisors. Coaching is provided during the workshop period and as a separate service outside of workshop activities. The goal is to support and promote the wellbeing, social empowerment, and functional capacity of young people outside education and employment. The work involves close cooperation with various authorities and networks (e.g., educational institutions, social and health services, municipal employment services, and Ohjaamo). The project worker's role is to strengthen young people's work-life skills and provide goal-oriented coaching towards studies or employment. The worker is responsible for actively advancing customer processes, monitoring, and reporting. Emphasis is placed on developing the workshop activities: developing pathways to employment in collaboration with stakeholders. The work includes individual and group coaching, development, and evaluation. Your workplace is located at the Youth Multi-Use Space Liido in Tikkurila, with good transportation connections. The work may include occasional evening and weekend work. We expect good communication skills and the ability to meet young adults in various life situations without prejudice. Besides teamwork skills, organizational ability and independence are required, as you will largely manage your own schedule. The job involves guiding small groups, so group leadership skills are an advantage. The most important thing is an active and enthusiastic approach and a desire to develop activities according to young people's needs. We have an enthusiastic and development-oriented team where expertise is utilized and shared. You can learn more about Vantaa's individual coaches on Instagram: vantaanyksilövalmentajat and on our website: Yksilövalmennus | Vantaa. The values of the City of Vantaa include openness, courage, community, and responsibility. The position is a temporary replacement starting from 11.06.2026 or as agreed. Please submit your application in time, as interviews may be held during the application period.
