Job Description
We are hiring registered nurses (2 open positions). Kaskimaan Hoivakoti Oy is a private company providing homely around-the-clock residential services for mental health rehabilitants. We operate in a natural environment. Our care work is based on a rehabilitative, functional capacity-preserving, and resource-oriented approach, as well as a community care model. We are now looking to add two nurses to our team, one of whom may have the opportunity to serve as the unit manager / responsible nurse. Nurse duties: As a nurse, you will be responsible for the health and illness management and monitoring of clients in our unit, medication management and pharmacy collaboration, cooperation with the contracted doctor and public health services, guiding and supporting a multidisciplinary team as an expert in your field, and onboarding new employees. The work also includes basic care work in a small unit, residential work, and participation in daily activities. Shifts are planned together based on work needs to ensure your success. Responsible nurse / service manager: In this role, you will be responsible for managing the care home according to high-quality standards. Your tasks include leading daily operations, ensuring service quality, smoothness, and compliance with legislation, developing procedures and services, acting as a supervisor for staff, ensuring staff well-being and success, and collaborating with various stakeholders. We require the service manager to have a higher university degree in social and health care, at least 3 years of leadership experience in social and health services, at least 3 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse services, strong organizational and decision-making skills, resilience under pressure, good communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, basic financial understanding, and the ability to operate cost-effectively, knowledge of social and health legislation, and a development-oriented work attitude. Additionally, experience in quality management, audits, and evaluations, as well as contract-based operations and reporting, is valued. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, responsible and proactive work ethic, collaborative and development-minded, eager to learn and develop their skills.
