Fixed-term full-time substitute teacher for primary education - Nykarleby stad - Nykarleby, Finland

We are seeking a substitute teacher for primary education at Metsäkumpu School from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. We are looking for a cooperative and enthusiastic teacher who is flexible and proactive, with good classroom management and interaction skills. Experience with multi-grade teaching and strong ICT skills are considered an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written, is required. Salary is determined according to the municipal teaching sector collective agreement. Qualifications are based on the decree 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. Interviews will be arranged separately at a mutually agreed time. The selected candidate must, before confirmation of appointment, submit a satisfactory health certificate and a criminal background check related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002), within 30 days of receiving the decision.
