Koukkuniemi's residential units are located in Tampere, near the city center with good transportation connections. The units offer long-term and short-term 24-hour care services and institutional care for the elderly. As a practical nurse, your tasks include supporting clients' well-being, assisting them, and enabling meaningful daily activities. Our goal is to facilitate active living for clients. What do we expect from you? You are a licensed practical nurse (social welfare), a practical nurse, or a practical nurse student who has completed the mandatory parts of the degree, i.e., at least 60 credits, and have valid study rights. In a practical nurse substitute position, a student of nursing, health care, or midwifery with at least 60 credits and valid study rights can also work. You speak and write Finnish fluently. You enjoy independent work and are self-directed. You have a customer-oriented mindset, good interaction skills, and a willingness to develop. You have a hygiene passport and have successfully completed the LOVe medication administration online test. If necessary, you can complete the LOVe medication online test with us at the start of your employment. The start date is flexible according to agreement. We hope you can start quickly. The duration of the substitute will be agreed upon separately. The trial period is half of your employment duration, and your working hours are full-time, shift work. The work includes morning, evening, and night shifts. You must present a criminal record extract according to section 6, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Records Act, and have valid vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016).
