Construction Equipment Operator - Kangasalan kaupunki - Kangasala, Finland

The construction equipment operator role is within the technical center's service area, infrastructure planning and construction unit. You will be part of an experienced and professional infrastructure construction team responsible for roads, pathways, water supply, and other municipal engineering works, both new and renovation projects. We work closely together to ensure Kangasala's functional and safe infrastructure. In this role, you will operate construction machinery and participate in the installation of municipal pipes, cables, sewers, and manholes. Your work will also include road and water supply compaction work, installation of traffic signs, and other diverse construction tasks. The minimum qualification is a basic degree in construction or civil engineering or a suitable equivalent, along with practical experience in the construction field. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are required. Knowledge of infrastructure methods, materials, and equipment, measurement skills, ability to read and interpret plans, as well as good teamwork and collaboration skills, are valued. Salary is based on the municipal technical staff collective agreement (TS) and the candidate’s experience. The starting salary is €2,680.38 per month.
